The Cataclystic Infinacy Within

How bzzare it be to be bzzee azza bee! This lack of slack needs to be reversed. Alas, Alice, did you lose your lettuce? Let us find it. Maybe you droppleganged it down that hole. See if you can grabbit.

What a very wondermerry land! This tree in front of me goes as high as I can see. Summer inscriptions are written in Norse code. Wait. Shh. I can hear it...

As I heard the bizzare language, images formed in front of my eyes to my amazement. Colors which I've never seen before fell to the floor as new shapes took their place. Iridescent crescendium sung luminescent tales of which I could not even begin to repeat to repeat to repeat to repeat to repeat. A story was told in the fold of space in front of my face.

I walked daisily along with the fawn I found, thinking flora mument about what I just saw. Christ anthemates ontumble ajumble. Imagine the pousailehbmetines! From my two lips, I began to utter some notes. Aaaahhh. Out of my mouth came... a bluish radiant ball which steemed to make me feel abundantly energessical. I put the sphere in my left spherehold, as it is so rightly called now. Knau a knew knote kneads to be known. But instead of a knote came a...

 An haaa-shri to-mei faaa u lan.

Bellular stones rang in the distance in the instant I sang. It seemed to compliment my filamentary song. This thymagreen which I'd never heard or seen erupted and sprouted into my hands. I sat down and planted it in a particularly sunny patch of land. Tired, I found a spot around the ground which houses the green gem I used to wield and had a rest.

That which is articulated is thus created.

I awoke to a sweet fragrance which made me feel more relaxed than I'd ever been. It was either that or the fact that I couldn't feel my body that put me in this state of ease. Not long after I was made aware of this fact I realized everything had a green tint. It was sunny but I didn't have to squint. The air tasted thin yet with each breath I felt better... up here?

Why up, and where is here? As I formed that thought I noticed I was enclosed inside something. The words An ha-shri to-mei fa u lan were being slowly sung in a soft voice from what seemed like everywhere around me and the song echoed throughout the pod-like shell I somehow managed to be in.

"That's it!" I managed to speak, regaining a feeling in my body. A chill ran down my spine as I came to the conclusion that I was inside the gemsong I planted. Almost before I started to panicake and wonder how I was to get out of this thing, I felt myself being pulled downwise. As I moved through a long, narrow tunnel, which I could only guess was the stem, I became aware of knowledge that was being implanted into my mind. This was my new home (if I chose), a place to be safe from dangerous strangers. Not that this enchanted, planted land has strangerous dangers, but the gesture was granted anyweigh.

When I stopped moving, as if by osmosis I exited through the base of the gemsong plant. I was covered with a sugarysweet, nectarious substance that tasted like a thousand orgasms. It glowed in the sunlight and it cooled me off, so I left it on.

Wandering and wondering where to go, a path seemed to form in the direction I was going. It windered into a pristine pine tree forest and what was beyond that was for me to find out. I could see frosty mountains in the hazy distance which climbed up into the sky so high the snow from the summits blended in with the sky around it. Now having a path to take, I began to make my way to the trees when a strong breeze made me freeze. I saw something hopping out of the forest and toward me. Remembering the gemsong's advice, I knew this encounter would be harmless.

"Snicker-snacks and magical backpacks!" I heard the little fellow bellow from a distance as he came closer and closer. We soon met up and he greeted me in a more formal, though not quite normal, way.

"Pardon the trouble, I am Snubbuns McDrubble! Have you a lapis chariot pie, O shiny one?" he asked as he reached up to shake my hand. The lad, who was no taller than my waist, was clad in a blue hooded robe which seemed to emanate light. He wasn't wearing anything on his feet. His face was painted with friendliness and even though he looked old and somewhat wrinkled, he felt young. His blue eyes smiled at me in such a way that his mouth didn't even have to follow suit.

I shook his small hand and tried not to squeeze too hard. He had a cane in his other hand which sparkled my curiosity. It looked wooden and extemely ancient and it was covered in carvings. The top end was encrusted with various flawless gems, such as rubies, diamonds, sapphires, and a few beautiful, glowing orange gems in shapes I've never seen. The centerpiece was a rotating, geometric object encapsulated in a round, crystalline substance. As the faces of the object rotated and caught the sunlight, the reflection almost blinded me.

"I'm sorry, I don't. What is lapis chariot pie?" I returned as I shielded my eyes.

"Oh he ho, me cane has entangled your gaze! An amazing beauty I may say." he proudly said with a grin, temporarily forgetting about the pie. "They say it's imbued with magical properties, they do," he added, petting the carvings.

"Who is they, and how did you find it?" I asked the friendly man.

"Let's not burden ourselves with unnecessary deertails," Snubbuns said in a pleasant but assertive tone. "What I desire is a lapis chariot pie. I see you are heading into Enipine Woods. I have deeds which I must attend to, but I'm sure you can find the pie. If you find you require my assistance, rotate the top half of this sphere a full 360 degrees. My cane will take it from there. Good weather and great dreams to you... um, I didn't get your name?" Snubbuns said as he handed me the sphere.

I thought for a moment and replied in a shaky voice, "You know, that's a good question. I know I have a name but I can't think of it!"

"Ha he he, don't get upset, my glowing friend. Speaking of glowing, why are you like this?"

"Um, it's a long story actually. I couldn't explain it if I tried. Maybe later on we'll be able to trade stories, hm?" I said in an attempt to find out about his cane. I held out my arm and added, "Take your finger and try some of this. It's from a plant." He obliged and tasted the amazing substance. He immediately jumped nearly five feet into the air.

"Glamulous pastralian encharmus! Just WHAT is that you have covering you?" he excitedly said, salivating.

"I'm still trying to figure that out for myself. Would you like some of this instead of the chariot pie?" I calmly tried to bargain with him.

"Oh ho ho wow, I would! But unfortunately I must have the chariot pie. Trust me, you won't be disappointed in your reward! Now, about your name. Does Ptah resonate with your soul?" he said with a glint in his eyes.

I thought about it, then asked him, "What does it mean?"

"Ah, ha yes. Where you come from, in your ancient Egyptian mythology, Ptah was a name for the one who called your world into being. He was the god of creation. You seem like an important fellow, so Ptah fits you quite nicely! He he ho, off I go!" he explained to me then ran off with the same hop he had when he met me.

"Wait, how do you know about where I came from?" I shouted, but I guess he didn't hear me since he kept running down the path. I couldn't even remember where I came from, let alone my own name, so how could he know??

As I walked along the long path toward Enipine Woods I mulled over what had just happened. What an interesting chap, that Snubbuns, I thought. His quirky attitude and his bizarre artifacts almost made me forget about my apparent new name, Ptah. Sounds like Peter, I thought. It stuck to me so I adopted it. After thinking about my new name some more, I felt the bluish sphere I placed in my spherehold. Then it occured to me. Ptah, god of creation. I created that sphere with my own words! Did Snubbuns somehow know?

I took the sphere out of its hold and held it in front of me. It glimmered brightly and caused my hand to glow. This is the same color of blue as his shining robes! A curious mix of excitement, wonder, and awe flooded my being as I put another piece of the puzzle together. I then took out the sphere he had given me. It again was the same color blue but it wasn't as radiant as the one I had summoned. The only other difference I could see in his sphere was the indentation along the circumference where the two pieces rotate around each other. I put both spheres into my spherehold and continued on the path.
